Low cal high protein waffle recipe NO PROTEIN POWDER. Recipe makes abt 6 waffles (for me)
360 calories 30 grams of protein
Ingredients:
2 eggs
Vanilla extract
Zero cal sweetener
150 grams fat free yoghurt
40 grams flower
A bit of baking powder
Whisk the eggs, vanilla extract and sweetener until they’re all mixed. Then add 150 grams of the yoghurt and keep whisking until it’s all smooth and there are no clumps. Lastly add the flour and baking powder and whisk until smooth. Slightly grease the waffle iron and add the mixture until its done!

Meal 2: baked chicken breast + toast w/ melted cheese slice + kale caesar salad w/ chickpeas, turkey bacon, cherry tomatoes, cucumber & pickled onions
Dessert: Greek yogurt brownie + yogurt bowl w/ kiwi, frozen raspberries, pumpkin seeds & crunchy PB
Lol was so bored, so I edited the heck out of my meals. Don't know if I can do this everyday cause it took me maybe 2hrs, but OMG it looks so pretty I want to!!!
Also, finally tried the viral 50kcal brownies, and it's so fudgeyyy I love it! 🥰 Mine came out at around 55kcals cause I added protein powder, but it's still low kcal, so I'm good with that.
Anyway, will update later. Might still walk a bit since it's still pretty early.

in med school i’m learning about gastrointestinal anatomy and one of the key things that stood out is SMA syndrome (superior mesenteric artery) where if you lose weight too fast your SMA can compress the transverse third portion of the duodenum due to rapid loss of the mesenteric fat pad which makes me feel motivated to commit to a healthy lifestyle change this time instead of crash dieting like i used to do in the past

I‘m back!
Trying to get back into healthy habits that i‘ve formed over the last year and that I stuck to easily until summer time.
I wanted to start tracking calories again to get a better feeling for how much i‘m eating and how much i‘m supposed to eat in order to lose weight in a healthy way.
First day was a success! Ate 1666 calories and „burned“ 155 on a half hour walk my boyfriend. Which pretty much comes out to 1500 calories i’m allowed to eat in order to lose 0,5 kg/1 lbs a week. Starting to slowly move my body as i‘m still feeling a little sick… 🍀

Not to brag but.... I was going to add some dessert balls to my treat yesterday... after having a whole protein candy bar.
I laid out a serving (some popped into my mouth, those would have been serving plus +).
I walked the dogs.
And thought about it. I just had a 200 cal candy bar. Do I need an extra 200 cals?
And the answer was NO!!
Progress!!!
Obviously I haven't been in a calorie deficit. I have been plateaued for quite awhile.
Extra snacks is a big part of it, I think.
If this extra snacks was 150 cal for 9 balls, Each tiny little ball is 17 cals or so.
Are they really that good?? The definitely are not filling.
So I made the decision to save them for a different day. There is no need to have them directly after a candy bar. Oy.
